Hybrid Tea Roses now also called Large Flowered Roses ( HT's) are a modern cultivar that contains probably the largest group of rose varieties available now. The plants are mainly upright 120 to180cm tall with mostly single well shaped flowers at the end of long stem. Many varieties of this category have light to very strong scented blooms. HT's first appeared in the late 19th century mainly from crosspollination of Hybrid Perpetuals with Tea Roses. They flower profusely and are suitable for cutting and exhibiting.
